Gmail Settings For Outlook For Mac
Use Server Settings preferences in Mail to change options for an account’s incoming and outgoing (SMTP) mail servers.
To change these preferences in the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, click Accounts, then click Server Settings.
Note: The settings you see vary depending on your account type.

Set up IMAP and change your SMTP settings to read Gmail messages in other mail clients, like Microsoft Outlook and Apple Mail. When you use IMAP, you can read your Gmail messages on multiple devices, and messages are synced in real time. You can also read Gmail messages using POP. Select File Add Account. Enter your email address and click Connect. Outlook will launch a Gmail window that asks for your password. Enter the password and select Sign in. If you have previously enabled 2-factor authentication for Gmail, you'll be prompted to enter the code sent to your mobile.
